“A change of scene, that’s what’s needed.” My wife exclaimed as we learnt our lives would be entering a new chapter.
You see we would be moving country again with the family for a couple of years and to have one last chance to take in some adventures and scenes from this land we have called home for the past four years, was the objective.
This usually would be a great idea, however, the weather seemed to be set against us. How frustrating! What should be time to unwind becomes a source of stress. A common occurrence when you run into forces outside of your control, and that is exactly what you have to see it as; outside of your control and accept this.
Worrying and getting worked up with things out side of your control, or circle of influence is pointless. As there is nothing you can do about, so roll with the punches and strap in for the ride.
